Join CSM for an epic week of surfing, island excursions, and Catholic faith in Hawaii. Honolulu Surf Camp combines expert surfing instruction with Catholic faith and values. 

Surfing began in Hawaii as an art form and spiritual experience. Before entering the ocean, ancient Hawaiians prayed to the gods for strength to undertake the powerful sea. Honolulu Surf Camp was founded in 2001 as a way to integrate surfing with authentic Christian living. Not only do we teach people how to surf, but we also bring them closer to God.

Honolulu Surf Camp is open to youth and young adult girls and guys. Anyone who can swim can learn how to surf. Our instructors work patiently with each individual to ensure safety and correct technique. Our instructors are lifeguard certified and Virtus trained. We welcome beginners with little or no prior surfing experience.

FUN IN THE SUN

Our lodging is a two-story beachfront house on the west coast of Oahu. All meals, surfing equipment, transportation and activities are provided, including:

• A trip to Pearl Harbor

• Authentic Hawaiian Luau

• Snorkeling with Turtles

• Much More!

We will pick you up at the airport upon arrival and take you back there for departure. All participants will receive a Honolulu Surf Camp T-shirt on the last day of camp.

SURF & CHURCH

Besides several hours a day of surfing instruction, Honolulu Surf Camp offers plenty of opportunities for spiritual growth. Our activities include daily Mass, Rosary, informative discussions on faith and morals, and time for prayer and confession. It's a great way to build and strengthen your relationship with Christ. Honolulu Surf Camp is Catholic but welcomes Christians of all churches.
